Here you will find some notes I used in the lessons and solutions to the discussion problems. Note that we are solving many problems from the book  the solutions of which you can find at the end of the course book. They are therefore not included in the notes below.
• Basic probability: 
Find the notes for lesson 1 and 2 here. The notes include solutions to discussion problems for lesson 3. We also solved the problems 302, 303, 307, 308, 310, 311, 316, and 317 from the book. 
• Random variables: 
Find the notes for the discussion problems for lessons 4 and 5 here. We solved problems 306, 403, 406, 410, 412, 415, 504, and 516 from the book. 
• Estimators: 
Find some notes for lesson 6 here. The notes include solutions to the second discussion problem of this lesson. We also solved problem 601 from the book. 
• Confidence intervals: 
Find some notes for lesson 7 here. The notes include solutions to the second discussion problem of this lesson. 
Some students asked me about how to use their calculators in order to calculate certain probabilities etc. I don't know much about calculators (I don't even have one), but here you can find some information and further links. (The webpage http://www.statistikkurs.se/ might be of general interest to you  it was created for the instance of the same course given last year.)
